Environment
The UEM is seeking to promote good environmental practice at national and continental level. Unfortunately, the many measures taken in the past years by UEM in order to limit the bikes noise on the road and in circuits, the weather pollution produced by exhausts gas emission, rubbish in paddocks, the application of rules in the choice of tracks for off-road competitions and other initiatives have not been fully recognized as deserved.
The UEM Environmental Guidelines booklet is aimed at remembering and summarizing them, together with recommendations addressed to all bikers and those who work in the world of competitions. It represents a good guide for a sensible behavior both on the road and during competitions. It also gives useful advice in order to make our sport clean and conscientious and showing that UEM is not insensitive to this problem but, on the contrary, it is deeply committed in a process of education addressed to young people for a better respect of everything that surrounds us.
